The Challenge
V/Line approached Modcast after we'd delivered a similar culvert nearby for another V/Line contractor. On a short timeframe, they needed a full design-and-manufacture package — including large custom wing walls to V/Line's own designs — ready for installation in a short occupation.
Our Approach
We engaged a consulting engineering partner for the full precast structure design, built custom moulds for the bases and crown units, and brought in a specialist formwork contractor for the wing walls.
The Outcome
Precast delivered on time, and the culvert has performed well since — see the video for the finished structure in place.
