Modcast was founded in 2018 by Laurie and Gareth Weeks, following years of experience in the concrete construction industry. We saw a need for a nimble, solution-focused manufacturer — one that could de-risk supply chains on major projects, rather than add to the risk.

Starting with basic box culvert structures, we've since moved into several verticals and product ranges, including our growing focus on the rail industry — while staying true to the customer-centric approach we started with, and the purpose that's guided us the whole way: building better infrastructure.

Today, we're a specialist precast manufacturer based in North Wangaratta, Victoria, designing and manufacturing site-specific precast for tier-1 contractors and rail authorities across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.

We're still an owner-led business, and that shows in how we work — directly, without layers between you and the people actually solving your problem.
