The Challenge
Temporary works designs on major tunnelling projects are typically only finalised just before the elements are needed — leaving little room to complete shop drawings, fabricate custom moulds, cast and deliver in time to support critical tunnelling activity.
Our Approach
We worked closely with the project team to fast-track design approvals, using our in-house mould fabrication workshop to rapidly deploy custom moulds — Kelly blocks, cradles and TBM rolling blocks — and accelerate production to meet the program.
The Outcome
All products delivered on time, helping keep tunnelling moving on one of Victoria's largest infrastructure projects.
