The Challenge
A remote site on the Hay Plains, limited council design resource, and a tender spec light on detail — the risk of ending up with the wrong product, and the cost blow-outs and delays that would follow, was real. Nine existing culverts needed custom extensions to widen the road for safer heavy road-train access.
Our Approach
We visited the site during tender to assess the existing structures firsthand, then delivered full design — precast bases, monolithic kerbs and wing walls — engineered to minimise fieldwork at a hard-to-reach location. We also coordinated the complex road-train deliveries and arranged cranes for unloading at each culvert.
The Outcome
All elements successfully designed, manufactured and delivered to a remote site, on program.
